Fun stories about users
Maddalena is a researcher and educator who, over the course of a couple years, has amassed over 2,000 items in galleries on Europeana. Her research focus is on paintings which contain food items, such as eggs or fruit. She searches in several different languages and uses boolean operators to find what she’s looking for. She presents the results of her searches to students in primary and secondary schools, and even teaches the secondary school students how to conduct searches on Europeana using such advanced methods. Maddalena greatly inspired our design of the advanced search.
