These guidelines aim to support best practices in copyright managementin cultural heritage organisations with the ultimate goal of developing a harmonised approach to copyright management. They are organised in three phases. Each of the phases is broken down into one or more objectives, and for each of those, the guidelines provide tips on the workflow, who to involve, who to inform, what to document and how to start the discussion. Once completed, the guidelines recommend harmonising how your organisation manages risk management in order to reach the ultimate goal. The guidelines are structured as follows:
