Europeana is made possible thanks to the collaboration of many organisations and people that believe that the cultural heritage sector can be transformed by digital.

Our brand intends to represent this ecosystem through the use of different colours for the Europeana Foundation, Europeana Network Association and the Aggregators Forum.

 

Europeana Initiative

We are borderless

Europeana works to be seen as a reliable source for researchers, teachers and even primary school students, whilst being multilingual and attentive to the accessibility of our platform and the diversity of our representations.

Our brand thrives to achieve this concept by using easily recognisable icons and friendly illustrations.

We are reference

What is next for Europeana? We aspire to be at the forefront of culture, be able to show the path to other Cultural Heritage institutions to digital capacity, be innovative, be seen as leaders in the digital cultural heritage sector and be a website on top of everyone's mind when it comes to free high-quality assets.

To depict these aspirations we chose to represent our brand with a ‘cutting edge’ in our promotional and institutional materials.
